Next season will be David Silva’s last at Manchester City as the Spaniard gets set to depart the club he has spent the last 10 years at.

Silva’s current contract will expire at the end of next season, however he does not want to extend with the Premier League champions.

Silva arrived at City in 2010 from Valencia for a £26 million fee before winning the league in his second season.

He has played an integral role in all of the club’s recent success, helping them win the league four times this decade including in the last two seasons.

However, after a total of 395 appearances, plus however many he plays next season, the silky Spanish attacker wants a new challenge.

It is reported that Silva wants to fulfil his dream of playing for his local club Las Palmas.

Las Palmas finished 12th last season in Spain’s second tier football competition, Segunda División, and would make Silva a marquee signing if he were to join in 2020.
