The various sportswear giants have released their official FIFA Women’s World Cup jerseys, just under three months away from the tournament in France.

In no particular order, FNR picked their top six.

1. Brazil away

You can’t go wrong with that gorgeous shade of blue. The Seleçåo Feminina’s away kit features a cosmic constellation – in homage to the Brazilian indigenous warriors who by legend turned into stars.

Pairing the blue with plain white shorts is also a big tick to keep it fresh and not overcomplicate the whole look. It’s sure to electrify the pitch.

2. Netherlands away

Fifty shades of blue – you’ll also now realise what my favourite colour is. We love the eye-catching bright turquoise, which goes seamlessly with the deep royal blue shorts.

A crown detailed print is also placed on the inside right shoulder.

3. China away

You’ll also now realise that we’re a fan of a lot of the away jerseys. They seem to be the more ‘adventurous’ of the designs.

China have hit the nail on the head with their away kit. It’s an all-over phoenix print on a steel grey jersey with orange accents. The phoenix is a “symbol of inner pride”.

It’s not a print or colour that’s common and its uniqueness will be very popular, so popular, we’re tipping it to be the Nigeria kit of Russia 2018.

4. England away

Another away jersey (surprise!). For the first time in history, the England Women’s national team received bespoke kits from Nike.

The uniform colour socks to shorts works really well in this instance.

The away kit also features a custom hand-drawn print highlighting specific flora native to England’s counties: poppy, primrose, rosebay willowherb, wood anemone, spring gentian.

This dark red hue is exclusive to the Lionesses.

10/10 from us.

5. Jamaica home

Ranked 53 in the world, Jamaica made history after qualifying for France through the Caribbean zone.

Umbro have brought the sauce with their home kit. The Reggae Girlz have a yellow jersey that’s incorporated the national flag print on the shoulders and sides of the shorts.

Needless to say they’ll look sharp in their FIFA Women’s World Cup debut.

6. Australia home & away

We do like Australia’s away kit, we saw it at the FIFA World Cup in Russia with the Socceroos and it’s made its return.

Something else that’s made a return is… that design.

According to Nike, it’s intended to evoke the Socceroos ‘spew kit’ of the 1990s, while also reflecting the Matildas youth – with the squad’s average age under 24.

We’d prefer white socks instead of the matching print, just for a cleaner look, however, that’s not what Nike have gone with.

The Matildas can pull that design off, especially with what they can do on the pitch!

The men’s cut of Australia’s away kit has officially sold out, so the guys seem to like it.

On another positive note, this Matildas kit is made from 100 per cent recycled material, with 12 recycled plastic water bottles used in every jersey.

*Special shoutout to Nigeria’s home kit, we saw it at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and it makes its big return after selling out across the world instantly.

Fittingly Nigeria have qualified for every single FIFA Women’s World Cup since 1992 and the Super Falcons will be able to rep it in France.

The Women’s World Cup will be held in France from June 7 to July 7.
